24/7 emergency service
Cupping boards, dark seams and a floor that feels soft near the dishwasher. Hardwood tells you it is wet later than most materials. We map the moisture, dry the boards and subfloor in place where we can, and document it for your claim. Call (910) 606-6161.
Under the boards
Hardwood hides water. By the time the boards cup, the subfloor has been wet for a while.

Dishwashers, ice makers and sinks soaking the boards from underneath.
A slow dishwasher or fridge line leak wicks under the hardwood and across the subfloor without ever showing a puddle. We track how far it traveled with meters, then use mat drying systems to pull water out of the boards in place, so you are not replacing a floor you could have saved.

What wet boards do, and which ones recover.
Vacuum panels that dry through the finish.
Damp crawl spaces cupping the whole first floor.
Water across a whole room in minutes.
Sudden leaks usually are.
Scope and pricing
What we don't do: refinish or replace the floor. We dry it and document the outcome. Sanding, refinishing or replacement is scoped separately once the boards and subfloor are dry.
Inspection and moisture mapping are free. If it is an insurance loss, we write the estimate in Xactimate, the same software your adjuster uses, and bill the carrier directly; you pay your deductible and nothing else unless the carrier denies part of the scope, and we tell you that before we do the work.
For out-of-pocket jobs you get a written estimate before we start. Some written estimates on larger non-insurance jobs carry a fee that is credited back if you hire us.
Rebuild after drying is scoped and quoted separately from the mitigation work.
How it works
You talk to the technician coming out. On site within 60 minutes, 24/7.
Moisture meters and a thermal camera find every wet material, including inside walls and under floors. Photos start here.
Standing water out, unsalvageable material removed, containment and air scrubbers up if the loss needs them.
LGR dehumidifiers and air movers sized to the loss. Daily readings until materials hit dry standard, usually 3 to 5 days.
Drying logs, photos and the Xactimate estimate go to your adjuster, so any rebuild is scoped against the claim.
You get a call from the person driving, not an automated text.

Sudden leaks and overflows, usually yes. Long-term seepage, usually no.
Hardwood damaged by a sudden appliance failure, burst line or overflow is the kind of loss a homeowner policy expects to pay for, including refinishing or replacement when the boards do not recover. Slow leaks and crawl space humidity are treated differently. We document the source and the readings. We cannot promise how a carrier will rule.
We write the estimate in Xactimate, keep daily drying logs and photos, meet the adjuster on site, and bill the carrier directly. How we handle insurance claims
1. Call us first so the drying starts.
2. Call your carrier and open a claim.
3. Send us the claim number and adjuster name.
We do the rest.
We photograph and meter everything before anything moves, so the loss is on record.
Drying starts the same day. You open the claim; we send the estimate and logs.
On site, with the Xactimate scope. Direct billing; you pay the deductible.

FAQ
Can wet hardwood be saved?
Often, if drying starts within a day or two. Cupped boards usually flatten as they dry. Boards that have buckled, delaminated or turned black do not recover and are documented for replacement.
What is mat drying?
Vacuum panels taped to the floor that pull air and moisture up through the boards and seams. It dries the wood and the subfloor together without pulling the floor up.
How long does hardwood take to dry?
Longer than drywall. Plan on a week or more of equipment running with daily readings, depending on how long the boards were wet.
The floor looks fine now. Do I still need you?
Cupping shows up days after the water, and the subfloor under it stays wet longer than the boards. A moisture meter answers it in minutes and the inspection is free.
Do you refinish the floor afterward?
No. We dry it and document. Refinishing or replacement is scoped separately.
Do you charge for the inspection?
No. Moisture mapping and a thermal scan are free. If you need a written estimate for a non-insurance job, we say up front whether there is a fee.
Call or text and the owner answers. If it is an emergency, say so and we roll.
