Emergency water extraction in Raleigh, NC

Standing water spreads faster than most people expect. It wicks up drywall, slides under tile and settles into subfloor where you cannot see it. We bring the pumps and extractors, clear the water, then map how far it traveled so nothing gets missed. On site within 60 minutes, 24/7. Call (910) 606-6161.

Scope and pricing

What emergency extraction includes

  • Moisture mapping with pin and pinless meters and a thermal camera
  • Water extraction and removal of unsalvageable materials
  • LGR dehumidifiers and air movers sized to the loss
  • Antimicrobial treatment of affected framing and subfloor
  • Daily moisture readings and photos, logged for your claim
  • Xactimate estimate and direct billing to your carrier

What we don't do: fix what caused the water. We stop the spread, extract, dry and document. The plumbing, roofing or appliance repair is a separate trade, and the extraction does not wait on it.

How pricing works

Inspection and moisture mapping are free. If it is an insurance loss, we write the estimate in Xactimate, the same software your adjuster uses, and bill the carrier directly; you pay your deductible and nothing else unless the carrier denies part of the scope, and we tell you that before we do the work.

For out-of-pocket jobs you get a written estimate before we start. Some written estimates on larger non-insurance jobs carry a fee that is credited back if you hire us.

Rebuild after drying is scoped and quoted separately from the mitigation work.

How it works

Five steps, one point of contact

1

Call and dispatch

You talk to the technician coming out. On site within 60 minutes, 24/7.

2

Inspect and map

Moisture meters and a thermal camera find every wet material, including inside walls and under floors. Photos start here.

3

Contain and extract

Standing water out, unsalvageable material removed, containment and air scrubbers up if the loss needs them.

4

Dry and monitor

LGR dehumidifiers and air movers sized to the loss. Daily readings until materials hit dry standard, usually 3 to 5 days.

5

Document

Drying logs, photos and the Xactimate estimate go to your adjuster, so any rebuild is scoped against the claim.

You get a call from the person driving, not an automated text.

Insurance

Does insurance cover emergency water removal?

Sudden losses, usually yes. Most policies also expect you to act fast.

Extraction is the first thing most policies expect after a sudden loss, because it prevents further damage. We photograph and meter everything before it moves so the loss is on record, then extract. Slow leaks and groundwater are treated differently. We cannot promise how a carrier will rule.

We write the estimate in Xactimate, keep daily drying logs and photos, meet the adjuster on site, and bill the carrier directly. How we handle insurance claims

What you do

1. Call us first so the drying starts.
2. Call your carrier and open a claim.
3. Send us the claim number and adjuster name.
We do the rest.

1. Document

We photograph and meter everything before anything moves, so the loss is on record.

2. Call us, then your carrier

Drying starts the same day. You open the claim; we send the estimate and logs.

3. We meet the adjuster

On site, with the Xactimate scope. Direct billing; you pay the deductible.

FAQ

Emergency questions

How fast can you get here?

Our target is on site within 60 minutes, 24/7. You talk to the technician who is driving.

What should I do before you arrive?

Shut off the water at the source or the main if it is still running, kill power to the wet area if outlets or cords are in the water, photograph everything, and move what lifts easily. Leave wet flooring and drywall in place until we meter it.

Can I just use a shop vac and fans?

You can pull surface water, but a shop vac does not get the pad, the subfloor or the wall cavities, and fans alone trap moisture behind them. That is how a small loss turns into a mold problem a few weeks later.

What happens after the water is out?

Moisture mapping, removal of what cannot be saved, then drying equipment sized to the loss with daily readings until the structure hits dry standard. Usually 3 to 5 days.

Is this the same as water mitigation?

Yes. Extraction, drying and documentation to stop the damage from getting worse is what the industry calls mitigation. Rebuild is a separate step.

Do you charge for the inspection?

No. Moisture mapping and a thermal scan are free. If you need a written estimate for a non-insurance job, we say up front whether there is a fee.

Still have a question?

Call or text and the owner answers. If it is an emergency, say so and we roll.
