24/7 emergency water damage. On site within 60 minutes.
Straight about scope
Once the fire is out, hundreds of gallons of firefighting water sit in floors, walls, insulation and the crawl space. We extract it and dry the structure so the damage stops spreading while the rest of the claim gets sorted out. Call (910) 606-6161.

What we do after a fire
ProWorks Restoration handles the water. We are IICRC certified in water damage restoration and mold remediation, and we tell you plainly what is ours and what is not.
Scope and pricing
What we don't do: board-up, soot and smoke cleaning, odor removal, contents pack-out or the rebuild. Fire restoration is outside our scope. We handle the water, and we say so up front.
The inspection is free. Fire losses are insurance claims, and the water dry-out is documented and billed as its own scope in Xactimate, the same software your adjuster uses.
You pay your deductible once for the claim, not once per trade.
Smoke, soot, odor and structural repairs are scoped separately by whoever does that work.
How it works
Once the fire department releases the house, call us. You talk to the technician coming out.
Moisture meters and a thermal camera find where the water went, including floors below and the crawl space.
Standing water out. Soaked drywall, insulation and flooring that cannot be saved are removed and listed.
Dehumidifiers and air movers until materials hit dry standard. Daily readings and photos.
Drying logs and the Xactimate scope for the water portion go to your adjuster.
Drying should start within a day or two of the fire. Waiting on the rest of the claim lets mold start.

Fire is a covered peril on standard homeowner policies, and the water used to put it out is part of the same loss.
The water dry-out is one scope inside a larger fire claim. We document it separately so the adjuster can see what was wet, what came out and how long the drying ran. We cannot promise how a carrier will rule on any part of a claim.
We write the water scope in Xactimate and bill the carrier directly for our portion. How we handle insurance claims
1. Call your carrier and open the fire claim.
2. Call us so the water dry-out starts.
3. Send us the claim number and adjuster name.
Moisture readings and photos of every wet material before anything moves.
Our Xactimate estimate covers the water dry-out only, so it lines up with the rest of the claim.
On site for the water portion. Direct billing; your deductible applies once to the claim.

FAQ
Do you do full fire restoration?
No. We handle the water left behind by firefighting: extraction, drying and documentation. Board-up, soot and smoke cleaning, odor removal, contents pack-out and the rebuild are not services we do.
How soon should the drying start?
Within a day or two of the fire. Firefighting water soaks framing, subfloor and insulation, mold can start within 48 to 72 hours, and structural drying is what stops it.
Can you start before the adjuster has seen the house?
Yes. We photograph and meter everything before anything moves, so the loss is documented. Most carriers expect mitigation to start right away to prevent further damage.
Is the water from the fire hoses clean?
It starts clean but picks up soot, ash and debris. Porous materials it soaked usually come out rather than get dried in place.
Do you charge for the inspection?
No. We come out, meter the water damage and tell you what we see.
Call or text and the owner answers. If it is an emergency, say so and we roll.
